The 7th Police District Advisory Council acts as a nonprofit organization. Absolutely no one is paid, not even our Board of Directors.
Every penny that we raise is used to support both the officers of the 7th Police District and the community.
We offer many programs in our community, both in schools as well as the community at large. We also sponsor programs for the officers of the 7th Police District, including our Police Officer of the Month and Year programs and appreciation events. In addition to our own programs, we often partner with other organizations to support their programs.
We are always looking for new ways to support our community. We rely on fundraising and occasional small grants to operate our organization. Although an official partner to the Philadelphia Police Department, we do not receive any funding from the Department.
We have a variety of ongoing expenses, such as storage fees, web hosting, fax service, office supplies, promotional materials, etc. We rely on the community for our support.
